CONTENIDOS DE SCIENCE. TEMA 2: MY BODY.

Partes del cuerpo (Body parts):


arm (brazo), back (espalda), chest (pecho), fingers (dedos), foot/feet (pie/pies), legs, hands (manos),  head(cabeza), limbs (extremidades), stomach (abdomen), toes (dedos de los pies), torso (torso).
 

Bones (huesos):


 skeleton (esqueleto), skull (cráneo), spine (columna vertebral), ribs (costillas).

 Face (Cara):


 cheeks (mejillas), chin (barbilla), ears (orejas), eyes (ojos), eyebrows (cejas), eyelashes (pestañas), hair (cabello), mouth (boca), nose (nariz), tongue (lengua).

 Muscles can (los músculos pueden):


contract and relax (contraerse y relajarse).

 Joints (articulaciones):

 ankle (tobillo), elbow (codo), hip (cadera), knee (rodilla), shoulder (hombro), wrist (muñeca).


 Organs (órganos):

brain (cerebro), heart (corazón), lungs (pulmones), skin (piel), stomach (estómago).


 Senses (sentidos):

hearing (oído), smell (olfato), sight (vista), taste (gusto), touch (tacto).

sweet/sour (dulce/ácido), salty/bitter (salado/amargo), light/dark (luz/oscuridad), bad/good smells (buen/mal olor), loud/quiet sounds (sonido alto/bajo), rough/smooth (rugoso/liso).


 Estructuras:

 I can see with my eyes.
I can hear with my ears.
I can smell with my nose.
I can taste with my tongue.
I can touch with my hands (skin).

The skeleton support our body.
The spine is your back bone.
Joints connect bone to bone.
Muscles are elastic and soft.
Bones are rigid and hard.
Muscles pull our bones.
The heart pumps blood to your body through veins.
We think with our brain.
We breathe with our lungs.
